Occupational Health and Safety Award
The Occupational Health and Safety Award is awarded every two years to companies and organisations that make a concrete commitment to protecting their employees, preventing occupational risks and improving well-being at work.
The Occupational Health and Safety Award is awarded by 2 Ministries: Ministry of Health and Social Security and Ministry of Labour together with the organisers: the Accident Insurance Association (AAA), Union des Entreprises Luxembourgeoises (UEL), the National Institute for Sustainable Development and Corporate Social Responsibility (INDR), the Inspectorate of Labour and Mines (ITM) and the Luxembourg Health Directorate – Occupational Health Division (DSAT).

To win
5 prizes will be awarded, each worth €5,000.
The winners will also receive a professionally produced video to present their project, which will be previewed at the upcoming OHS Forum (in exhibition format)
Public Award
In addition to the prizes awarded by the jury, the Public Award, worth an extra 2,000€, will be granted to one of the winners.
Online voting for the Public Award 2026 is open until 6 May 2026. The winners are encouraged to share their videos on their websites and social networks after the award ceremony. The winner of the Public Vote Award will be announced at the end of the voting.
Why participate?
The award aims to:
- recognise innovative initiatives in the field of safety, health and well-being at work;
- highlight the concerted efforts made by employees and employers to manage health at work and prevent accidents at work and occupational illnesses;
- highlight the investment made by companies to improve safety, health and well-being at work;
- disseminate achievements widely so that other companies can benefit from them.
N.B. Only companies with a CCSS employer number (matricule employeur, CCSS: Centre commun de la sécuritésociale) or organisations operating in Luxembourg can submit their files.
