10TH OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH AND SAFETY FORUM 2016
The 10th edition of the Occupational Health and Safety Forum marks a new stage in the joint commitment of the national stakeholders to progress in occupational health and safety in Luxembourg. At the academic session, at which the organisers were honoured to welcome Their Royal Highnesses the Hereditary Grand Duke and the Hereditary Grand Duchess, the national stakeholders unveiled a new shared national strategy to promote safety, health and well-being at work, based on ‘VISION ZERO’.
To mark the step and to get out of the stagnation of work-related accidents in recent years, national stakeholders have signed a national VISION ZERO Charter. The Signatories of the charter: Ministry of Social Security, Ministry of Labour, Employment and the Social and Solidarity Economy, Ministry of Health, Ministry of Home Affairs, Ministry of Sustainable Development and Infrastructure, Ministry of Civil Service and Administrative Reform, the National trade unions: CGFP, LCGB, OGBL and the initiators: AAA, UEL and INDR.
