Stuntman Holger Schumacher

Visit the RiskBuster® stand and experience occupational safety and health in a different way: RiskBuster® is a video and live format in which stuntman Holger Schumacher highlights typical risks in work and everyday situations – realistically, impressively, and professionally secured. Based on well-known experiment formats such as Mythbusters, RiskBuster® examines specific safety myths, everyday mistakes, and typical misjudgments – from the worlds of work, traffic, technology, and production. The key difference: the scenarios are not only simulated, but realistically reenacted with the help of real stunts. Where possible, RiskBuster® himself acts as the “test person.” All scenes are professionally planned, secured, and supervised – with stunt coordination, medical care, protective clothing, and special equipment. This makes it immediately clear to viewers: “This can happen – if you cross this line.”

Join us live or become part of the action yourself with an experiment in front of the camera.

1. Educational objective

• Raise participants’ awareness of the risks associated with prolonged exposure to noise in the workplace.
• Help participants understand the concrete impact of hearing loss on communication and quality of life.
• Encourage participants to adopt preventive behaviours (wearing hearing protection, reducing noise).

3. Workshop schedule

• Welcome and introduction
  • Presentation of noise-related risks (key figures, consequences).
  • Explanation of the simulation principle.
• Immersive experience
  • Participants wear noise-reducing headphones that simulate different levels of hearing loss and hearing disorders.
  • Reading or listening to a simple message to demonstrate the difficulty of understanding.
  • Interaction: ask participants to repeat or answer a question to illustrate the discomfort.
• Debriefing and prevention
  • Discussion about how it felt.
  • Presentation of solutions: hearing protection, adjustments, medical follow-up.
  • Distribution of resource documentation.

Motion & Strategy VOF (VR KRANTRAINER®)

The simulation enables safe learning and training in crane operation and safety-related behaviour. Incorrect operations and critical situations can be deliberately created and evaluated without any real risk to people or materials. The focus is on: raising awareness of potential hazards, promoting safe working practices, learning through practical experience (‘learning by doing’).

Luxembourg Drone Centre at the CNFPC – Ettelbruck

This practical demonstration shows how drones can be used to inspect hazardous or confined areas without directly exposing people to risk. Participants observe in real time, via a field display, the capabilities for safe navigation, obstacle avoidance, and live image transmission to support situation assessment. The objective is to clearly illustrate how these technologies enhance workplace safety and support operational decision-making in the field.

Police Judiciaire, Section enquêtes spécialisées

Come and find out more about the Special Investigations Section’s response van, a mobile tool deployed during workplace accidents (and other incidents) to facilitate initial steps on site.

The van is equipped with a mobile office for taking statements and drafting initial procedural documents directly on site, in a confidential, calm and secure environment. Among other things, it has protective equipment (e.g. Tyvek suits for searching and collecting evidence), sampling equipment (tools, boxes and suitable containers), and a 360° video surveillance system.

Our investigators will show you the equipment, explain how to use it and answer your questions on:

• the conduct of a criminal investigation in the event of an accident at work;
• the role of the Criminal Investigation Department and the Specialised Investigations Section;
• best practices to adopt after an accident (and mistakes to avoid).

Regular vehicle maintenance is crucial for road safety. Using a real car, you will learn (or refresh your knowledge of) the following topics:

• The importance of vehicle maintenance for road safety

• Brake fluid and braking performance
• Tyres (air pressure, tread, wear)
• Windscreen wipers and washer fluid

This load securing simulation table allows the effects of different friction coefficients and appropriate securing on load stability to be studied.

Police Lëtzebuerg – Service National de Prévention de la Criminalité (SNPC)

The Police has a van specifically dedicated to the needs of informing the public.

This prevention van will be used during the Forum for the prevention of drugs, alcohol and in the field of road safety education.

Centre de Formation pour Conducteurs (CFC)

The simulator is designed to raise awareness of road hazards by reproducing the forces and sensations experienced in real accidents, such as collisions and vehicle rollovers. It helps people understand the importance of wearing seat belts and the behaviours to adopt to reduce the risk of road accidents.

DGUV Sachgebiet “Verkehrssicherheit in der Arbeitswelt”

We all participate in road traffic every day: whether on our way to work, school or nursery, for professional purposes or privately. The choice of mode of transport varies greatly, yet we all use the same public roads. Put yourself in the shoes of other road users and engage in conversation. Traffic situations are re-enacted and discussed.

Skillscenter by LSC360

The Safety Flexy truck is an immersive and interactive space dedicated to fire safety, first aid and risk prevention.

Real fire, smoke, first aid techniques, dynamic projections: experience prevention in a different way, through an immersive and fun experience!

Throughout the Forum, visitors will be free to discover various specific activities:

• Practical workshops on extinguishing real fires with fire extinguishers (simulated and controlled fires)
• Simulated situations in smoke-filled areas to practise the correct evacuation procedures
• Fun first aid exercises (life-saving techniques, alerting others, ensuring safety)
• Fun educational sessions based on several mini scenarios
• Immersive projection on a large screen inside the truck, like a mini cinema, presenting various intervention and prevention scenarios, anticipating reactions

Securitas

This demonstration is a mobile, immersive firefighting training experience.

Participants learn how to recognise the signs of a fire, adopt the right reflexes and use fire extinguishers safely, in conditions close to reality.

This practical approach raises awareness of fire risks and enables teams to respond effectively in an emergency, while complying with legal fire safety training requirements.

Several exercises are carried out in front of participants, illustrating different types of possible fire situations, including:

Stoll Safety

Two complementary experiences, one ambition:

• Our mobile unit, in the form of a fire truck, autonomous, compact and ultra-manoeuvrable, combines theory and practice in a single unit.
  Real fires, fire extinguisher handling and fire blankets: immersive, effective training that can be deployed anywhere.
• The augmented reality headset offers immersive scenarios, safe repetition of actions and highly engaging learning.
  Safety training becomes interactive, realistic and immediately effective.

Arthemis Formalux

The demonstration consists of a theoretical part with digital support, followed by a practical part with the use of fire extinguishers on real fires and evacuation of a smoke-filled room.
